Above all, firefighting is a brotherhood and sisterhood of men and women who put their lives on the line for their fellow brother or sister, to save the life of a citizen in need or their property. We are a unique breed of people, with each having as much of a different reason to serve as the next person. However every one of us desires to help someone in need. It was said that when a person joins the fire department, their greatest act of bravery has been accomplished. It takes a certain courage to run into a burning building to save the life of someone trapped inside. These people are our everyday heroes.

For over 60 years the members of McLeansville Fire Department have had the courage to act and answered this call. We invite you to join this legacy not only of the McLeansville Fire Department, but of that of the brotherhood and sisterhood of firefighters.

To begin your volunteer service with us, call Station 47 between 9am and 4pm Monday thru Friday to find out more information!
